As you all know I was induced on Sunday night. After 18 hours in the hospital Jackson decided he did not like labor and contractions. So at 2:04 he was delivered via c-section. Of course it was not the birth I had imagined but I didn't care as long as my little man was alright.

there were bets in the operating room as to the weight! The dr said 5lb 6oz. Kelly said 5lbs 11oz. I said 5lbs 4 oz. I won and the dr said if she had gotten it right she would have gotten to take Jackson home! So its a good thing I guessed right!

Can you believe that he didn't go to sleep until after 6pm after being born at 2:04pm? He was an incredibly alert baby! The pediatrician told us he was at least a week to two weeks post term. Looks like my original due date might have been correct. My obstetrician also confirmed this!
