Jackson's first hair cut!!

I decided after coming home to a boy with a bald spot and a comb over that I just couldn't handle it anymore so out came the scissors!

Jackson enjoyed his time with uncle Kody when he came down for the big 12 game!

Yes everyone needs a felt cowboy hat when they are 4 months!!! It was a very practical purchase!!

Here are some more of my favorite photos!

Daddy and me...

Tummy time can be fun!

Howdy partner..

Wheee!

We are really enjoying this stage in jackson's life! He is such a joy and constantly makes us smile and melts our hearts with his many giggles! If it isn't apparent by the pictures Jackson has become a very happy baby!

4 months already

Today marks 4 months of our baby boys life! I think we have truly been blessed with the smiliest, happiest baby ever! You would never know in seeing him now that he had a very rough start. He is talking, smiling, giggling, and nearly rolling over. I just can't believe it. We have officially broken the 12 lb mark and go in Friday for our next round of vaccinations. Then we will find out where Jackson fits on the growth chart. Here is a photo of our little guy. What a joy he is! Almost makes you forget the trying first 3 months!! (I said almost...)

Pictures of the Iowa Clan!!

I've decided I should be fired from blogging! After my long break from blogging due to hospital stays and post baby recovery (still recovering!!) I failed to post my pictures of the Iowa group with our little guy! So here they are! Sharon and Emery came the day of our induction and stayed for the week. Kody, Jill, Natalie, and Kade came down 2 weekends after we had Jackson!
The Happy Grandparents!!
GranGran and her cell phone in front of the nursery!! She wasn't excited was she!!

GranGran and Nana with the new guy!
Ok Nana it's GranGran's turn!!

Aunt Jill and Baby Jackson!

What a little guy!

After Mommy went back to work GranGran stayed for a whole month to help with Jackson! Jackson loved his GranGran time!! And we loved our GranGran time too! We haven't gotten to spend that much time with her since we've been married so it was a good bonding time for GranGran and Mommy!! We learned how to burp easier, smile more, and many other things!! I think Jackson might have even learned how to crochet while watching GranGran with her projects!! Some days he decided she shouldn't crochet at all!! We miss our GranGran and wish we lived closer!
They made each other smile a lot!!

At the end of GranGran's visit Papa came to visit too!
Happy boy in Papa's arms!

GranGran and her little Jack Jr!! She never thought she'd get a real Jack from her nicknamed boy one day!

Ready for bed!!

Jackson and Papa

Stay tuned for more pictures from the Iowa clan after our Christmas together!!!

Of course we will have some from Uncle Kody's visit this weekend for the Big 12 Championship game!! We'll have some pics of the boys in all of their Husker stuff!!!
