21 going on 22...

Well technically I guess I'm completing my 22nd week this week. Never know exactly how these counting things go. Here is a new picture of my larger more portly self!

Here are some updated nursery pictures as well! Fresh paint new letters on the wall.

This is the picture of the curtains with the bedding. Of course these are just pieces of folded material but eventually we'll sew them!! The panels also need to be steamed!! But what do you think? My argylish vinyl border will be about a foot above the crib on just that wall and then I'll have a vinyl saying above that or centered in it.

I hope everyone's weeks are going well! Kelly and I are busy trying to accomplish everything before we head to Iowa! We're looking forward to seeing everyone there!

The Nursery!

We’re 21 weeks along now! Over half way till we get to see our little Jackson! Ever since we found out what we’re having I have been working to get the nursery ready! Of course first I had to do a little shopping and then of course arranging the closet! Here is a picture of Jackson’s little clothes!!!
Don’t worry I got great deals on all of these!

When we went shopping, my mom bought Jackson his first outfit from Nana and Papa Bear! It is so cute. Here is a picture!

And my good friend Jenni went shopping for our little guy on her trip right after we called! What a friend! And look at this little Ralph Lauren Easter outfit she got him! We are going to have one stylish little guy.

The evening of our ultrasound I immediately placed an order with Janie and Jack. Just take a look at this cute blazer I got for little Jak! I love it!
Kelly and I painted the room on Monday. It is amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do to a room! My mom and I completed the fabric purchases for the baby bedding. I set up the fabric in the bed the way it will be when it’s sewn. The bumpers will be 2 sided with the blue and brown polka dot fabric and the zebra. The bed skirt will have the zebra fabric added to the bottom of what is shown. And the comforter will have the lime dot fabric around its border. Here are a few pics. The pictures of the bedding were before new paint!
I also decoupaged letters for his wall opposite the crib. I used scrapbook paper on them. Kinda hard to see it in the photo. I’ll take one when we get them on the wall!

Kelly and I, on Tuesday, hung the curtain rod in the bay window! It was a little more labor intensive than the one we did in the kitchen bay window. It was a double rod this time. Now I just need to make the curtains! I’ll have photos for you later next week!

Kelly asks what are you going to do after April when you have everything ready?! I say I’ll find something to do! Maybe even relax! That’s all for now I’ll have photos of Kelly and I later!
