Our Trip to Maui, HI

We were a little nervous in planning our first trip with Jackson! Since he had never flown before; we weren't sure how he'd do! But he did great on all the plane rides and adjusted better than all of us to the time change!


We were greeted by rain for the first few days but with it came these!













While we were there Jak had to blow up all the balls and balloons we brought! He had fun playing with Nana and Papa!









First we went to the Maui Plantation and got to feed some ducks!






It was really bright!




Peek-a-boo around the mini palm trees!






"Where the byrdies mommy" Jak was trying to catch the birdies but they kept flying away imagine that!!






On one of the rainy days we went to the Maui Ocean Center!






Fishies!!!!






And turtles too!!!





And then Papa bought us a "pop"! We had a blast making it pop and jump off the table. We did it over and over again!










Thursday night we went to a Luau. I liked the fruit and talked to the ladies at the table with us!































On Friday Daddy went surfing! We got to watch him!







I got to play in the ocean while he practiced!!






Daddy let me try!!








Then I sat with Papa and watched Daddy.










We also got to play at the beach by our hotel a lot!











And play in the pool!






While we were there we went to Haleakala volcano. It was cold and very early for the sunrise.










Papa bought me a birdie!! It made noises. A definite must have!









Unfortunately this is all we saw of the sunrise. The unusual weather made it foggy.













We got to ride the Sugar Cane train! It was really fun!






































We had a great time in Hawaii! Next time maybe we will go some where closer so the jet lag isn't as bad in coming home!!
