Our 15 week appointment was yesterday afternoon. Apparently, they didn’t get us checked in properly so we waited 30 minutes to get in and then another 30 to be seen by the doctor as she delivered 2 babies that afternoon and was behind. The baby’s heartbeat was 150bpm and while the nurse was searching for the heartbeat we heard the baby flipping around and then kicking! It was so cool! I say we’re having a gymnast, Kelly says soccer player but either way we’re happy it’s healthy and well at this point. We’re in the process of scheduling our next ultra sound to find out what we’re having!!! We can hardly wait. I think when we can actually call “it” a name and can shop for cute stuff we’ll be more excited and it will feel more real. Now, I wouldn’t even know there is something growing in me if it weren’t for the slightly protruding stomach and the lack of my pants closing!
As I was writing this update I got to the call to schedule the ultrasound! March 12th! I can’t wait to go! Only 3 weeks 6 days till we get to go!
Yesterday, we got to take dinner to our friends Matt and Maria who just had their baby girl Ella! She is so precious! 6lbs 9oz and the most perfect hands and feet you’ve seen! And they are such proud parents and should be!! It’s amazing holding her how small babies can be. We had a good visit and they let me hold her! It made me wonder how ours will be.
